The kayak is made of medium-density polyethylene, a virtually indestructible material that's somewhat flexible (so it doesn't crack), but also maintains its stiffness thanks to Ocean Kayak's compound curves. The Venus 11 also includes a Comfort Plus seat back that offers couch-like comfort on the water. All Comfort Plus seats feature extra foam padding for the ultimate in comfort and support, along with four-way adjustability that provides a custom fit for almost any body type. The kayak's most notable feature, however, is its women's-specific design. The female-friendly features include a low-deck profile, a seat well built to accommodate a woman's center of gravity, and a car-topping handle system that makes it easy for men and women of any size to load and unload the kayak into a car rack.
